Your Signal Mountain Youth Staff is proud to present…Summer 2014! Every year we have an amazing opportunity to take several of our middle and high school students on summer trips. We spend an entire year learning about the love of Christ on Wednesday nights, in D-groups, on retreats, and during Sunday school. However, there is no greater way to learn about God’s love than to go and share it with other people. These trips give our students a chance to live out their faith and grow in their walk with Christ.
We want to invite all of you in on this process. First, we ask that you begin praying for our summer trips. This is the most important thing you can do. Also, if you have kids that would like to join us on any of the three trips this summer, we ask that you sign them up early! This helps us to cut down on trip cost when we can book travel early. Remember that spots are limited. Sign up today and avoid missing out on your child’s opportunity to be a part of something great!
Big Stuf Camp
June 16-21 | $550 | in Daytona Beach, FL
Open to: high school students (completed 8th-12th grade)
Incredible speakers and worship times, big beaches, and huge fun! NEW for 2014! Place change, better accommodations, longer trip, and includes a day at an Orlando Theme Park! We are still want to work out some costs and are hoping to bring the price down closer to $500. We will keep you posted! (40 spots available)
Nicaragua Mission Trip: Currently Full, but accepting Wait List applications
June 27-July 4 | $900 | (through SonServants)
Open to: High School (completed 9th grade or older)
We’re staying in Managua, Nicaracgua and working with our long-time partners “La Vida Joven” (Young Life) at their camp facility and coffee farm. (35 spots available)
West Virginia Mission Trip
July 21-26 | $300 | (through SonServants)
Open to: Middle School (completed 6-8th grade)
We’re working with Son Servants and Panther Christian Outreach for various home repairs like roofing, painting, building ramps, etc. (35 spots available)
How To Register:
- Sign up online from January 1 – March 1. Then, bring in your deposit ($200) to confirm your reservation.
- Registrations are first-come, first-served, and only secured by a non-refundable deposit of $200 due at time of registration. (After March 1, deposits can only be refunded if another student takes your place on the trip.) **Note: you can now make your registration payment securely online using a credit card!
