Jackson was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, where he grew up attending a Presbyterian church with his parents and older sister. Outside of his parents, the youth ministry of his home church has had the greatest influence on his walk with Christ. After high school, he landed at Grove City College in western Pennsylvania, where he met a beautiful and very outdoorsy girl named Martha, and eventually convinced her to marry him. It worked, and they got married in June of last year! He loves rock climbing and music, especially bouldering at Little Rock City and writing songs about Martha. Martha and Jackson are SO excited to get to join the community at Signal Pres. Throughout their visit, they were struck by how much everyone they talked to loved being a part of Signal Pres. Most of all, Jackson is thrilled to have the opportunity to spend this next season with students, and to “tell the old, old story” of the God who was crucified that we might live with him.
