Recognizing the Class of 2015

Recognizing the Class of 2015It’s the home stretch of your last year of high school!

Our church would take a few moments at our 10:40AM worship service on Sunday, April 19 to thank God for you and pray for you. It is a time of recognition for you and your family and a chance for the church as a whole to bless you as you forward in your life. Here are two quick things for you to know:

We would like to list your names on a special bulletin insert along with basic info. If you can come that day, check in with us in the Youth Café beforehand so we know who’s here! If you can’t, still let us highlight you! If you want to be recognized, please take a moment to provide us with the following information: your name as you want it to appear, your parent(s)’ names, and where you are graduating from High School. Please do this by Friday, April 3 and use the form on this page.

You and your family are invited to a Celebration Lunch with our D-Group leaders after the service from 12:00PM-2:30PM held in the Warehouse (youth wing). This is a moving, memorable chance to enjoy some time as a church family and celebrate the seniors. Parents and D-Group leaders will get a chance to affirm you publicly for what we see in you and celebrate about you.

Please RSVP right here by April 12 (or you can call it in to Callie at the office).

Parents and D-Group leaders note: you will have a short opportunity to speak and affirm your students for what you see in them and celebrate about them.

  • Want to do it live on stage? My encouragement is to write it out, be prepared (it’s emotional!), and please keep it to 2 minutes or less (we have a LOT to celebrate)!
  • Do you prefer a video? If you’d rather, shoot a short video (iPhones are great) and email it to Jimmy no later than April 12.

We know that you have tons going on toward the end of the year and many commitments to keep, but we would love to have you with us as we celebrate what God has done – and will do – in your lives. We hope to hear from you soon! (And share this with anyone else who wants to join in!)

grace and peace – Andy Cornett
